Our Mission and the People Behind the AAIMH.
The Arkansas Association for Infant Mental Health (AAIMH) was founded in May of 2009 (incorporated September 2009) in response to a growing interest in and concern about the healthy social and emotional development of young children in Arkansas.
AAIMH meets the fourth (4th) Thursday of each month (with the exception of November and December) and is able to join through teleconferencing with a growing number of sites and members throughout the state. Current teleconferencing sites are Little Rock, Fort Smith, Lowell, Newport, Pine Bluff, Jonesboro, Warren, Springdale, and Magnolia. Monthly meetings are open to members and non-members.
