The mission of AAIMH is to promote the healthy social and emotional development of infants, toddlers, and their families. 

The purpose of AAIMH is to: 

        • Build public awareness of the importance of prenatal care and the first three years of life for health social-emotional development. 
        • Enhance professionals' ability to support the relationship between infants, toddlers, and their caregivers. 
        • Educate decision makers about research-proven practices and programs that support young children and their families.
        • Promote collaboration and communication among multi-disciplinary groups of Arkansans dedicated to the well-being of young children.
